Position Information: Under the direction of the R'Garden Faculty Director, and in consultation with the Office of Sustainability, the R'Garden Manager provides services for the UCR R'Garden. This one-acre farm sits on a central location in the university and serves as a hub for university-level courses, research, service learning and a variety of student-led initiatives. The R'Garden Manager will oversee daily activities of the R'Garden and coordinate activities of student interns.
The full salary range for the Agricultural Technician, Senior is $23.28 - $31.99 per hour. The expected pay scale is up to $25.19 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

Department Custom Scope Management of the daily activities of the R'Garden. The 4.5 acre community garden site is centrally located in the University and will showcase sustainable agriculture through University-level courses, research, service learning, community events, and a variety of student-led initiatives. The University community, local community groups, organizations, and schools will participate in garden activities. Maintain a self-sustaining operation through reliable student interns and volunteers, CCAC fellows, and faculty, staff, and community volunteers.
