Incorporated in 1903, the City of Arlington is located in northern Snohomish County at the forks of the Stillaguamish River, about 10 miles north of Everett and 40 miles north of Seattle. The City’s Water Reclamation Facility treats an average of 1–1.5 million gallons per day, serving roughly 4,800 residential and commercial customers while protecting the environment through reliable collection and treatment prior to discharge to the Stillaguamish River or the City’s Constructed Wetland. Arlington’s drinking water system draws from multiple raw water sources, filters and disinfects the water, and delivers high-quality service through miles of pipe to thousands of customers. Public Works is actively advancing infrastructure projects across the community—improving utilities, streets, highways and arterials, and expanding multiuse trails—to support dependable services and future development.
